Before moving into their new facility, the Moore County Sheriff's Office was working out of a 12-by-12 evidence room where everything had to fit—somehow. Standard shelving, makeshift solutions, and a growing volume of evidence meant items were stacked, mixed, and increasingly difficult to manage.
The new space changed that. But only if it was designed the right way. Working with Patterson Pope, the team built a system around how evidence was actually handled, using a mix of shelving, drawers, lockers, and specialized storage to create clear, secure zones for everything from firearms to bulky items.
Now, evidence is easier to store, easier to find, and easier to track, helping ensure proper chain of custody every step of the way. Download the case study and watch the video to see how Moore County turned a cramped room into a system built for real-world demands.
