The Bo Bartlett Center at Columbus State University was designed to showcase rotating exhibitions, but its long, narrow storage room made it difficult to house a growing collection of large-scale works.
Instead of expanding the footprint, the team looked up. They took advantage of the room's 23-foot ceilings with vertical hanging racks and high-density mobile storage, creating space for artwork of all sizes.
Now, the center can safely store and manage a changing collection, keeping pieces protected, accessible, and ready for display as exhibitions change.
