The Atlanta History Center has spent the last century preserving the stories that shaped Atlanta and the Southeast. But as preparations began for its 100th anniversary, the team faced a major challenge: safely storing more than 2,000 Civil War artifacts after a long-running exhibit came down, all without expanding its footprint.

By replacing static shelving with high-density mobile shelving, the Center maximized existing space while creating organized, flexible storage for artifacts of every size. The new system improved accessibility, supported staff workflows, and created room for future growth.
